Formal NMC Statement to Members 21/07/07
The BSAFA NMC has held a meeting today with its legal advisors. At this time we wish to state:
- BSAFA are committed to and will be providing a full BCAFL season for 2007-08.
- Contrary to BAFA statements, NO legal proceedings have been issued against BSAFA or its officers past or present.
- To reassure our members, our legal advisors have confirmed our solvency. Any statement to the contrary can be considered inaccurate.
- Upon legal advice, further financial information will be provided publicly in approximately 7 days.
- At no time has any BSAFA mandate allowed anybody other than your elected NMC to represent BSAFA membership in any capacity. Representation remains as you have voted.
- Upon legal advice BSAFA will be formally writing to BAFA for the withdrawal of their inaccurate declarations and corrections thereof along with a public and formal apology.
